Often people say that the way to enter into a man’s heart is passés through his stomach. So the wives in the Sub-continent Aisa always try to make delicious food for their husbands. I can’t say anything about the validity of this axiom that, is it true or not, but the one thing is valid which I can say with confidence that food actually has a great effect on our moods. If you are an Indian then Indian food can actually make you feel happy. Before prolonging our discussion about the effect of Indian food on human moods let me introduce you to some of the traditional Indian dishes which you can cook for yourself or can have on any Indian Restaurant. So here we go!

Biryani

We can say that the simple Biryani is the Indian version of the Chinese fried rice. The main ingredients are rice, vegetables, and meat. Raisins are also being added to add a special flavor. Some people even also try the Biryani with shrimp, but it is not a common practice. This simple vegetable Biryani is a safe choice as it will not be a spicy dish. So, it is best for small kids and for the persons who do not like spices.

Hyderabadi Biriyani

Here come the spices, when we talk about the Hyderabadi Biryani. The spice lovers love to eat it and the persons know the taste of this Biryani can feel the real texture of deliciousness. Among the numerous Biriyani methods, Hyderabadi Biriyani stands out due to the mode of cooking and ingredients. The main ingredients are rice, meat (lamb or chicken), yogurt, onions and a significant amount of spices to give it a full-on punchy flavor. Both kinds of Biryanis are easily available in all Indian restaurants.

Tandoori

Tandoori again is a non-spicy dish. So it is another good option for kids and low spice lovers. The reason why it is called Tandoori, is its cooking method. Actually, it is simply cooked in a clay oven known as a Tandoori. The main ingredients are Chicken, Yogurt, Honey, Tandoori Masala.

Curry

Curry is a kind of a sauce which we can use with fried potatoes, beef, lamb, chicken, shrimp or any other thing or even with plain Chapati. The ingredients are cumin, garlic, ginger, tamarind and a bunch of other tasty spices and of course curry leaves. When all the ingredients come together they take the form of a really thick gravy. Curry is by far the most well known Indian dish.

Tikka Masala Masala

This is a creamy tomato sauce, which is extremely tasty. But make sure to ask first if you are ordering from a restaurant because most people add spices on the demand of the public.

Vindalo

If you are visiting an Indian restaurant and want to order the hottest dish, then place the order of Vindalo because it is one of the hottest Indian dishes. Anyhow, I will not recommend this.

Dhokla

Dhokla is the famous Gujarati Dish (Gujarat a city name). It is made with a fermented batter derived from rice and split chickpeas.

Paratha, Sarson ka Saag with Makki ki Roti and lot more Indian dishes are very famous. The list of Indian dishes if very long and we can’t cover them in a single article.

Even the foreigners can enjoy the non-spicy Indian food and can give their taste buds a unique flavor. All the food that you love to eat, whether it is Indian or not, have a great effect on our moods.
