Indulging in Skin Care for Health and Beauty
Do you know your skin is sensitive?
I wonder when they say beauty is all about color, looks, and has nothing to do with a person’s talent, etc. It is also true that skin color and facial beauty are natural and there is no personal merit to prove this.
The whole matter depends on the qualities of the head and heart along with what you have in your mind. But you cannot deny the fact that you should take good care of your skin because the first impression always comes from how you appear or how you carry yourself.
According to dermatologists, different skin types of different people respond in different ways so we must keep in mind certain things, which might prove useful.
1- You must use soap-free and mild cleansers with no fragrance or little fragrance.
2- The moisturizers should be having petroleum, mineral oil ceramides, and glycerin. (You should know that when you’re young, your body produces ceramide molecules which help keep your skin healthy)
3- One must use silicone-based foundations. These are safer and lesser sensitive.
4- One must keep on replacing the old cosmetics with new ones because these may prove harmful in the end.
5- All products having deodorants or not consisting of an anti-bacterial base should not be used.
6- People love the fragrance but basically selecting the products with lesser fragrance and harmful ingredients is suggested.
What about Spa at your own home?
Your skin needs a treat once in a while. So, did you ever think about giving your skin self-treatment? Yes, you can pretty much give yourself a treat by having a spa center of your own.
A spa is one of the best methods of giving your body a much-needed treatment for getting rid of stresses and tension. A spa is a mineral spring having health-giving properties that provide positive energy to your body and mind. However, it’s not possible to go to a Spa Center often, not for everyone in the east.
So what about a Spa at your own home? Here is how –
First stage
Spray Lavender or Rose perfume in your room
Wash your face with cold water. For scrubbing your body you need 5 tsp honey, 4 tsp dry coarse powdered sugar, 2tsf dry powder of orange peel, 1tsf paste of almond, and a little olive oil. Make a paste and use it on your entire body rubbing it gently for 10 minutes.
Second Stage
Clean your skin with the help of a wet towel with hard hands. Use the pulp of papaya on your entire body for 15-20 minutes and let it dry. Keep the scrub on your body for 10 minutes. Meanwhile have a pot of boiled water with meshed papaya.
Place your face over steam, holding a bath towel over your head for 3-5 minutes. Now clean your face with lukewarm water. Clean your body with a soft wet towel which will help remove dead skin and blood circulation regularly.
Meanwhile, fill the bathtub in half and mix it with a half cup of rose water. You can add a few drops of essential oil to the bathtub and take a bath.
Note- You can perform the first and second stages of scrubbing together or in different sessions.
